American Red Cross Appreciates CIRC Donations
Glenn Barnhart, Jr. of the American Red Cross Delmarva Region attended our December holiday luncheon and expressed his enormous gratitude for the $1,165 donated our our members at the luncheon...all for a very good cause. A special shout out to Paul Bryant of SB Realty, Edd Connor of NAI Emory Hill, and Gerald Watson of Tuscan Construction.
Stay tuned...Glenn promises to provide information to our membership on a free benefit that the American Red Cross can provide to local business for emergency preparedness.
Food Bank of Delaware Thanks CIRC
Members of the CIRC:
Thank you so much for your continued support of what we do here at The Food Bank of Delaware. This time of year is especially difficult for families, and even more so for families with young children. Your generous donation of 243 lbs. of food at the CIRC Holiday Lunch will ensure that several local families will not have to worry about where the money will come from to feed their family during the holidays.
It’s great to know that so many of you that I have known for years are so generous when it comes to others. Believe it or not, over 240,000 Delawareans depend on The Food Bank for assistance in one form or another. That is approximately 25% of the state’s population (or for you sports fans, it equates to 6, sold-out Citizen’s Bank stadiums!).
Thanks again, on behalf of the men, women and children who will directly benefit from your generosity.
