Saying Goodbye to Philip Hoge
We are saddened by the untimely passing of our dear friend and business associate, Philip A. Hoge, who lost his courageous battle with cancer on February 22. Phil was a founding father of CIRC and an active member at both CIRC and Committee of 100, and worked for many years at Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties. Surely, many of you knew Phil and saw his obituary in the paper. Follow the link below if you would like to see a copy of the write up.
A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Church, 1108 N. Adams St, Wilmington, DE 19801, on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1:30pm. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the family home in VA on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2 pm. If you have any questions about the services, please talk Greg Ellis. In lieu of flowers, the family requested memorial gifts to the Old Swede's Foundation, 606 Church St., Wilmington, DE 19801 or Westmoreland County Museum, P.O.Box 247, Montross, VA 22520.
Editor's Photo Note: I'm pleased to have a recent picture of Phil Hoge (left), with Edd Connor, at our January 8, 2013 luncheon and continuing education event, thanks to Pat Forester and Stat Office Solutions for helping to chronical the life and good times of our members, friends and events! You can find other photos on their website.
Membership Benefits of Staying Current
If you are one of the small group of members that hasn't yet remitted your $80 Annual Dues for INDIVIDUAL membership, this message is for you. Those who haven't paid yet will need to begin paying NON-MEMBER rates unless they renew. If you have any question, contact Janet at email@example.com.
We would like to soon close the renewal cycle and compile the membership directory. It is important to renew, not only so that you can be found in our MEMBERSHIP/ SEARCH DIRECTORY, but to be included in the annual print directory as well. This will be posted on our website and available only to current members.
Membership has benefits, and helps you to have a voice in your local business and professional community. We hope you will retain your membership.
