If you haven't already, please register now for our February 11, 2015 Annual Economic Forecast Luncheon this Wednesday at the Clarion Belle.
Please help us welcome and hear from Augustine (Gus) Faucher, Vice President and Senior Macroeconomist for The PNC Financial Services Group for our Annual Economic Forecast meeting. We would like to thank Bruce Jones from PNC Bank, for arranging to bring a high level, national economist to us.
Meet Gus Faucher - He is responsible for contributing to PNC's U.S. economic forecast and alternative economic scenarios. In addition, he contributes to PNC's National Economic Outlook, Economic Releases, Market Expectations Survey, and Economic Outlook Survey of Small Busines Owners report. Faucher is frequently cited in international, national and regional media outlets. He has appeared on ABC World News, CBS Evening News, and NBC Nightly News, and is featured on CNBC, CNN, and Fox Business. He has also appeared on public radio's All Things Considered andMarketplace. He earned a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He also has an A.B. in economics from Cornell University.

Always Grateful for Member Donations
CIRC is pleased to help to bring relief to local charitable organizations through your generous donations.
At our holiday luncheon in December, the members donated $625 through our 50-50 cash raffle (with another $100 in private donation) to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Delaware, benefiting Metro Wilmington area.
AND...you provided 160 pounds of food and cash donations to the Food Bank of Delaware.
VOLUNTEERS at the Newark location and DONATIONS are always needed. Contact Food Bank of Delaware to lend your assistance.
Membership Committee Held Meet & Greet for New Members
- At CIRC Membership Committee's 4th quarter meeting in December at Jim Manna's office at BrightFields new members were approved (see below)
- At the January 14 luncheon, the Committee met with many prospective new members to be voted upon in the first quarter meeting.
- For those interested in membership, first fill out the online Membership Registration Form, letting us know you are interested, and then attend a lunch meeting as a non-member in order to meet the Membership Committee, which meets quarterly to review and approve new "individual" members.
