Hot Off the Press: 2009 CIRC Member Directory

Members who attended the April meeting received the newly printed  2009 Member Directory -- categorized by Individual Member Name, by Company Name, and by Type of Business.

We received fast reproduction service and a good price from CIRC member Mike Janis of RCI. To further limit our distribution expense, copies will be handed out to current members at the May 20 meeting and then, after that, the undistributed balance will be mailed.

June 6 BRAC Relocation Fair

New Castle County and Residential Real Estate companies are hosting a BRAC Relocation Fair on Saturday, June 6 in Newark.  The event, as those previous, will bring potential residents from Fort Monmouth to Newark for bus tours of the area.

The exhibit hall will be located at Embassy Suites on South College Avenue (Route 896) in Newark.  There is currently a waiting list for exhibit tables, priced at $500 each.  If you would like to be placed on the waiting list in the event that tables become available, please email jenniferbanning@emoryhill.com.

UD President Patrick Harker Did Not Disappoint

A crowd of more than 125 members and quests attended the April 22 meeting held in Newark in honor of keynote speaker Patrick Harker, President of the University of Delaware.

Dr. Harker was clear about UD's commitment to its role in ecomonic development in the State of Delaware, citing creation of the new Office of Economic Innovation and Partnership headed up by director David S. Weir, formerly of Delaware Biotechnology Institute.
